Is retinol safe for pregnancy?

I just found out I'm expecting and I'm reviewing all my skincare products. I have a retinol serum I use regularly. Is retinol safe for pregnancy, or is it something I absolutely need to avoid? I'm concerned about any potential harm to the baby.

Listen, don't stress too much if you used it once or twice by mistake. Just stop using it now, because retinol is not considered safe for the baby. Try using a gentle moisturizer instead, okay?

My wife had to throw out all her expensive retinol creams the moment we got the good news. Our doctor strictly said no retinoids of any kind. Better to play it safe and stay away from it.

I literally cried when I realized I was using retinol in my first trimester. But my doctor explained that topical exposure risks are low, though we must stop it immediately. My baby was born perfectly healthy, so don't worry.

Haan, bilkul safe nahi hai pregnancy mein. Retinol skin ke liye achha hai par baby ke liye dangerous ho sakta hai. Aap bakuchiol try karo na, woh safe alternative hai.

No, it's not safe at all! 🚫 Put that retinol away for now. You can try safe pregnancy-friendly options like Rosehip oil to keep your skin glowing beautifully! ✨

Haan na, pregnancy mein retinol bilkul use mat karo. Maine bhi doctor se pucha tha aur unhone mana kiya. Safer creams hi use karna achha hai.

Actually, it's not safe at all yaar. My derm told me to strictly avoid any retinol or salicylic acid during these months. Just stick to basic hydration and sunscreen for now.

Back in my day, we didn't even know what retinol was! But yes, nowadays doctors strictly forbid it during pregnancy. Better to look a bit tired for 9 months than take any chances with the baby.
