Is retinol safe during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant with my first child and trying to be very careful with everything I use. I use retinol for my skin, but now I'm worried. Is retinol safe during pregnancy, or should I stop using it immediately? My friend said to avoid it completely.

No, it is absolutely not safe to use retinol during pregnancy, sweetie. It can be harmful to the baby. Just stop using it immediately and focus on safe alternatives like vitamin C or hyaluronic acid for now.

Oh god, I used my retinol serum twice before realizing I was pregnant. Did anyone else accidentally use it in the early weeks? I am so anxious and scared for my baby right now.

I also panicked like crazy when I found out retinol is a big no-no because I had been using it for months. My gynecologist reassured me that stopping it once you know is what matters most. Your baby will be perfectly fine, just switch to safe skincare now.

It is standard medical advice to avoid all retinoids, both oral and topical, during pregnancy due to the risk of birth defects. Stick to natural aloe vera or consult your dermatologist for pregnancy-safe acne care.

No, dear, please avoid these chemical products during this sacred journey of motherhood. Keep your mind peaceful, use simple sandalwood or milk cream for skin glowing, and let nature do its beautiful work.

Retinol is clinically unsafe during pregnancy. Save yourself the stress and research time: just lock your retinol bottles away for these 9 months. Ask your dermatologist for Bakuchiol as a safe substitute.

No yaar, please don't use it! Retinol is actually a form of Vitamin A which is linked to severe issues in babies during pregnancy. Just pause it for a few months, your skin can wait!
