Is reglan safe in pregnancy?

My doctor prescribed Reglan for my severe morning sickness, but I'm always cautious about taking medications during pregnancy. I wanted to ask if Reglan is considered safe in pregnancy, or if there are risks?

My gynecologist prescribed it to me for severe morning sickness and it worked fine. But please don't take it without asking your doctor first.

I had horrible nausea in my first trimester and my doc gave me Reglan because nothing else was working. It really helped me eat food again, but everyone's body is different, so definitely get your doctor's approval before taking it.

I have seen many moms-to-be in our group use it safely under medical supervision for severe vomiting. However, self-medication is a big no during pregnancy. Just give a quick call to your doctor's clinic to confirm if it suits your health history.

I am also looking into this because my morning sickness is starting to get really bad. My friend mentioned this medicine, but I am a bit scared. Did your doctor mention any side effects like drowsiness when they prescribed it to you?

Pregnancy nausea can be so difficult to deal with every day. While many doctors do prescribe Reglan safely, it is always best to let your own doctor decide the right dose for you. Hang in there, this phase will pass.

Actually, my wife was prescribed this during her second month because she couldn't keep even water down, yaar. It was safe for her, but honestly, don't take any medicines directly during pregnancy without asking your gynecologist first.

I remember crying from constant nausea and being so terrified of taking any pills because I didn't want to hurt the baby. My doctor explained that Reglan is commonly used and safe, which finally gave me some peace of mind. Please talk to your doc to ease your worries.

Hey! Don't stress too much, pregnancy nausea is the absolute worst. Reglan is generally considered safe by doctors, but since every pregnancy is unique, it is best to just get a quick prescription from your doctor instead of guessing.
