Is pre workout good for weight loss?

I've started going to the gym recently and want to lose some weight. My friend suggested using pre-workout, saying it helps with burning fat. Is that true or is it just for energy?

Listen buddy, pre-workouts don't actually burn fat directly, they just give you energy to work out harder. Don't stress too much about fancy powders. Just focus on your diet and consistency, and you will see the weight drop.

I tried different green teas and pre-workout drinks for weight loss, but nothing worked as well as simple warm water with lemon and regular walking. These chemical drinks only made me restless and sleepless at night. Stick to natural things, they are safer.

Haan, energy toh milti hai pre-workout se, but directly weight loss nahi hota na. It just helps you run or lift more. Honestly, normal black coffee also does the same job without costing thousands of rupees.

Don't fall for the marketing hype that pre-workouts melt weight. Most of them are just overpriced caffeine powders that can mess with your heart rate. Speak to a doctor or certified sports nutritionist before putting these things in your body.

I agree with others here. Pre-workout only gives you energy to sweat more, but weight loss depends entirely on your calorie deficit.

Bro, save your money. I bought a expensive pre-workout pre-exam for workouts and it just gave me jitters instead of actual weight loss. Plain black coffee or just a banana before the gym is way cheaper and does the trick.

I used pre-workout during my 15 kg weight loss journey. It is useful only if you use that extra energy to burn calories in the gym. If your diet is bad, pre-workout won't help at all. Use it strictly as an energy booster, not a magic pill.

I totally get it, trying to find that extra energy to exercise when you are exhausted is so hard. Pre-workout can give you that boost, but please be careful as the high caffeine can make you feel anxious. Take it slow and listen to your body.
