Is popcorn ok for weight loss?

I'm trying to shed a few kilos before my cousin's wedding. I often crave crunchy snacks, and popcorn is one of my favorites. Is popcorn okay to eat when you're trying to lose weight, or should I avoid it completely?

Yeah, it’s actually awesome for weight loss. I eat a huge bowl of plain air-popped popcorn when I get late-night cravings. It has hardly any calories and keeps me full, just don't add any butter or oil.

I log everything on my tracker, and 3 cups of plain air-popped popcorn is only about 100 calories! It’s an incredible high-volume snack for weight loss. Just avoid the pre-packaged microwave ones as they are loaded with hidden fats.

I always feel so anxious about snacking when I am trying to lose weight, fearing I will ruin my progress. Has anyone else successfully used plain popcorn to lose weight? Does it really satisfy your hunger without adding fat?

Plain popcorn is a very light, natural grain that is gentle on your digestive system. When prepared simply without excess fat or chemical salt, it supports a clean, active body. Keep your eating habits mindful and close to nature.

My nutritionist explained that popcorn is a whole grain high in dietary fiber, which promotes satiety and aids weight management. However, she emphasized that this only applies to plain, air-popped versions, as commercial toppings dramatically increase the calorie density.
