Is pooping good for weight loss?

I'm focusing on my diet and fitness to lose weight. My trainer mentioned the importance of digestion. Is pooping regularly actually good for weight loss efforts?

Honestly, it only clears temporary waste weight, not actual body fat. I track my daily weight and water intake on my fitness app, and the minor drop you see in the morning is just digestion clearing out. For real fat loss, you still need to focus on a proper calorie deficit and daily steps.

Please don't confuse bowel clearance with actual fat loss. When I was consulting my clinical nutritionist at Kokilaben Hospital, she explained that chronic constipation or loose stools are digestion issues, not weight loss tools. If you are having irregular bowel movements, get a proper consult done instead of guessing.

My grandmother always says that a clean stomach is the base of good health, but it doesn't mean you are burning fat. When I asked our family doctor, he confirmed that pooping only gets rid of body waste, not calories. Focus on a balanced diet with proper fiber instead of tracking this.

Don't fall for expensive laxatives or 'detox tea' packs that promise weight loss by making you run to the toilet. They just dehydrate you and waste your money. If you have chronic digestion issues, saving up for a basic Rs. 800 stomach profile test is much better than buying fancy herbal powders.

Bhai, pet saaf hona achhi baat hai, par isse sharir ki charbi kam nahi hoti. Bas pet halka lagta hai subah subah. Khoob paani piyo aur hari sabzi khao, digestion achha rahega toh health apne aap sudhar jayegi.
