Is poha good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and looking for healthy breakfast options. My mom suggested poha, but I want to be sure. Is poha good for weight loss, or are there better choices?

Oh, this is something I've always worried about! Poha seems so light, but then I think about the carbs. It can be good if you make it super healthy with lots of veggies and less oil, and watch your portion. But if you have it with potatoes or a big plate, it might not help with weight loss. It's tricky!

For weight loss, especially with conditions like PCOS, every meal counts. Poha can be a good option because it's light, but again, preparation is key. Avoid excessive oil, don't add potatoes, and load it with protein-rich ingredients like paneer or sprouts. Consult a nutritionist to be sure what works best for you.

Poha for weight loss? Ha! My wife tries to feed me that 'healthy' poha with sprouts. It's better than puri-bhaji, I'll give it that. But if you add too much oil, peanuts, or god forbid, potatoes, it becomes less 'loss' and more 'gain'. So, maybe, if you're very strict with it!

I love poha, and I'm trying to lose weight. Is it good mostly because it's filling, or does it have some special properties? I usually add a lot of peanuts, is that okay or should I reduce them?

Poha is a decent option for weight loss, mainly because it's low in calories and fat if prepared correctly. The trick is to maximize fiber and protein. Use minimal oil, add a lot of chopped vegetables and some sprouts or paneer. It's better than processed cereals, but portion control is essential.
