Is ozempic for weight loss?

Someone in my gym mentioned Ozempic is good for losing weight. I've been struggling to shed some kilos after my second baby. Is Ozempic actually used for weight loss, or is it for something else?

No beta, this medicine is actually made for sugar patients. Some people use it to lose weight, but it is not safe to take such heavy injections without asking a big doctor. Take care of your health.

It is actually for diabetes, but it did help me lose weight when my doctor prescribed it for my insulin issues. I was so worried about the side effects initially, but it turned out completely fine. Just let your doctor decide.

It is very expensive and meant for diabetes. For normal weight loss, cutting down tea sugar, eating homemade rotis, and walking morning and evening is a much better and pocket-friendly solution.

Ozempic is designed for type 2 diabetes, though it is used off-label for weight loss. If you are tracking your calories and steps on an app, you'll find that sustainable lifestyle changes are much more effective and safer in the long run.

My daughter wanted to try these modern injections for weight loss, but I strictly advised against it. These are heavy diabetes medicines and should not be used casually by youngsters. Focus on healthy home food instead.
