Is ozempic for diabetes or weight loss?

I keep hearing mixed things about Ozempic, some people say it's for diabetes, others for weight loss. My friend's doctor prescribed it, and he has both. Is Ozempic primarily for diabetes or weight loss, or both?

I recently completed a six-month course for my high blood sugar. It is officially for type 2 diabetes, but it helped me lose some weight as a side effect. It is a dual benefit but should be taken strictly for medical reasons.

It is approved for type 2 diabetes, though it is widely used off-label for weight loss. However, relying only on injections without a proper protein-rich diet and strength training won't give you a healthy, fit body.

While it is a diabetes medicine, many use it to lose weight. I always feel natural ways like portion control and drinking warm water are safer. But if you have severe diabetes, do follow what your doctor says.

It is officially for type 2 diabetes. For weight loss, simple home-cooked food, cutting sugar, and walking 5 kilometers daily is much cheaper and has zero side effects.

Actually, it is meant for diabetes, yaar. The weight loss is just a major side effect because it keeps you full for longer. Don't start taking it just to lose weight without a proper specialist's nod.

Don't believe the online hype that Ozempic is a magic weight loss shortcut. It is a serious prescription medicine meant for type 2 diabetes patients. Always verify with an endocrinologist before putting anything in your body.

Haan, basically toh yeh diabetes ki dawai hai, but weight loss to side effect ki tarah hota hai na. Don't start taking it on your own just by reading online posts, doctor se consult zaroor karna.

It is basically a diabetes injection. A lot of people are using it for quick weight loss now, but honestly, it is not worth the side effects unless you actually have sugar issues. Just hit the gym instead.

I was terrified when my doctor suggested Ozempic, thinking it would make me very sick. But it really helped regulate my blood sugar and naturally reduced my overeating habits. It is safe if your doctor supervises the dosage.

Listen, it is originally a diabetes drug. Don't rush into taking it just because you want to lose some weight quickly. Let's focus on building healthier habits first, and consult a doctor if you really need medical help.

Ozempic is FDA-approved only for type 2 diabetes management. The same compound is sold under the brand Wegovy for chronic weight management. Make sure you know the difference before asking your doctor.

I was researching this yesterday because of all the news. Ozempic is for type 2 diabetes, but because it reduces food cravings, many doctors prescribe it off-label for weight loss. It is quite interesting how one drug does both.

I was prescribed this for my type 2 diabetes and lost about 8 kgs. It definitely helps with blood sugar and weight, but you must monitor your diet to maintain the results. Talk to your doctor to see if it suits your health profile.

It's like a diabetes drug that did a side hustle in weight loss and became a superstar! Jokes aside, it is a serious medicine for sugar control, so please leave the decision to your doctor.

As a diabetes patient, I know Ozempic is specifically designed to control our insulin and blood sugar. Weight loss happens because it slows digestion, but it is not a casual weight-loss pill. Always treat it as serious diabetes medication.
