Is one cup of chamomile tea safe during pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and finding it hard to sleep, so I thought about having some chamomile tea to relax. My mother warned me about herbal teas during pregnancy. Is just one cup of chamomile tea safe while expecting?

My cousin used to drink a warm cup of chamomile tea to sleep during her pregnancy. She said one cup is usually fine, but it is always safer to just run it by your doctor during your regular visit.

Herbal teas can sometimes have uterine-stimulating properties depending on how they are brewed. To be absolutely safe, please check with your obstetrician before adding any herbal tea to your daily diet.

I loved having chamomile tea for my anxiety, but when I was pregnant, my doctor advised me to limit herbal teas in the first trimester. One weak cup occasionally is mostly fine, but do ask your own gynecologist once.

I know pregnancy cravings and wanting a warm soothing drink can be so real! Chamomile is generally gentle, but herbal blends can be tricky. Maybe check with your doctor so you can enjoy your cup guilt-free.

I completely understand wanting a warm cup of tea to calm your nerves during pregnancy. One cup is usually okay, but to ease your anxiety, just drop a quick message to your doctor to confirm.

I monitor my blood pressure closely and know how herbs can sometimes interact. If you have any blood pressure issues during pregnancy, please consult your doctor before consuming herbal drinks like chamomile.

I once ignored minor dietary advice during a family health issue and we faced complications. Don't take any chances or rely on internet advice during pregnancy. Ask your obstetrician directly during your next checkup.

Since I managed PCOS, I am always very careful with herbal infusions as they affect hormones. During pregnancy, it is best to be twice as cautious. Definitely consult your doctor before drinking it regularly.
