Is oatmilk good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and have seen many recipes for oat milk lattes and smoothies. I'm curious if oat milk is actually a good choice for weight loss, or if it has too many calories.

Haan na, everyone thinks oat milk is a magic diet drink nowadays! But honestly, it has quite a few calories and sometimes added oil. Regular toned milk or black coffee is much better for weight loss.

According to my nutritionist, oat milk is relatively high in carbohydrates and calories compared to unsweetened almond or soy milk. During processing, the fiber is mostly strained out, so it won't keep you full for long. She advised sticking to whole oats instead.

Haan yaara, packaged oat milk is actually quite heavy on calories, na. If you are trying to cut down fat, unsweetened almond milk is a much safer option. Plain water is best, honestly!

Oat milk makes the creamiest lattes, but let's be real—those extra carbs won't help your waistline. It is delicious for a cheat day treat, but for daily weight loss, it is definitely a pass.

I struggled to lose weight due to hypothyroidism, and switching to trendy drinks like oat milk didn't help at all. What actually worked was getting my thyroid levels monitored regularly and eating a doctor-approved low-carb diet.
