Is noodles good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and sometimes I crave noodles for a quick meal. I'm wondering if eating noodles regularly would be good for my weight loss journey or if I should avoid them completely. Are there any healthier noodle options?

My nutritionist explained that regular instant noodles are made of maida, which has a very high glycemic index and leads to fat storage. Even if they are labeled 'oats' or 'wheat' noodles, they are often deep-fried during processing. She recommended whole-wheat vermicelli or zucchini zoodles instead for weight loss.

I can only share what happened during my own fitness journey last year. Whenever I ate instant noodles, I bloated immediately and noticed the scale go up the next day due to the massive sodium content. Switching to home-cooked rice or oats helped me shed weight much faster.

Instead of packaged noodles, I prefer natural home-made options like semolina suji upma or broken wheat daliya for healthy weight management. If you are struggling with sudden, uncontrolled weight gain despite eating clean, please don't rely only on diet changes. Go see a doctor to check your thyroid or hormone levels.

Haan, maida noodles toh weight loss ke liye bilkul acche nahi hain na. Inme carbs bahut zyada hote hain aur pet bhi nahi bharta. Agar man kare toh ghar pe khub saari sabziyan daal kar atta noodles bana lo, par regular mat khana.

I know how stressful it is when you are trying to lose weight but constantly crave your favorite comfort foods like noodles. It can make you feel so guilty. Just remember that having a small portion of noodles once in a while won't ruin your progress, as long as you focus on overall healthy meals.
