Is non alcoholic beer safe during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester, and sometimes I miss having a social drink with friends. My husband suggested non-alcoholic beer, but I'm really cautious about anything during pregnancy. Is it completely safe for the baby and me?

Even non-alcoholic beers often contain trace amounts of alcohol, up to 0.5%. It is much safer to completely avoid them during pregnancy and choose fresh juices instead.

Oh God, I would honestly be too worried to even touch those! I read online that even a tiny fraction of alcohol can sometimes slip through the filtration process. I know it's hard when you want to celebrate, but maybe stick to sparkling water just to keep your mind completely at peace.

Let's be real—most non-alcoholic beers actually have up to 0.5% ABV. During pregnancy, there is no established safe limit for alcohol consumption for the fetus. Skip the commercial zero-beers and ask the bartender for a genuine virgin mojito instead.

Listen to me, dear. Even though these beers say 'zero alcohol', many of them still have tiny trace amounts that aren't good for the developing baby. For these few months, let's play it absolutely safe. Drink some refreshing fresh coconut water or a nice mocktail instead, okay?

Haan na, pregnancy mein thoda dhyan rakhna hi padta hai. These commercial non-alcoholic beers might have chemical preservatives too, which is not good for the baby. Better to stick to normal fresh fruit juice or lime soda, it is much safer.

Why take unnecessary risks with packaged drinks during pregnancy? Non-alcoholic beers still contain preservatives and high sugar which can cause gestational diabetes. Stick to simple, home-made lemon water or fresh buttermilk which is both safe and cheap.

I completely understand wanting to feel normal and join in on social drinks when you are pregnant, as the lifestyle changes can feel very overwhelming. However, since most 'non-alcoholic' beers have minor traces of alcohol, it might cause you unnecessary worry later. Your mental peace is very important right now.
