Is niacinamide safe during pregnancy?

A friend suggested niacinamide for my pregnancy glow, but I'm a bit hesitant to try new products right now. Is niacinamide safe to use on my skin during pregnancy, or should I avoid it?

I was actually looking this up for my sister yesterday. From what I read on dermatologists' blogs, topical niacinamide is completely safe during pregnancy and is even recommended to handle pregnancy acne. It seems much safer than using retinoids or harsh acids.

Yes, niacinamide is 100% safe to use on your skin during pregnancy. I used a 5% niacinamide moisturizer to control my melasma and pigmentation during my second pregnancy. Just avoid high concentration serums like 10% or 15% as pregnancy skin can be extra sensitive.

I had a very high-risk pregnancy and my skin became extremely reactive to almost everything. Even though people said niacinamide is safe, it gave me a bad rash because my skin was so sensitive then. Please show your skincare products to your gynecologist before applying them.

Beta, these chemical face serums should be used carefully during these nine months. While some say this niacinamide is safe, trying natural things like बेसन or face packs made of milk is always gentler for the baby. If you still want to use it, please ask your doctor first.

Honestly, I used niacinamide creams during my pregnancy to look less like a zombie, and it was perfectly safe. Now that the baby is here and I sleep about two hours a night, I need a whole bucket of it! Use it without worry, it's safe.
