Is neuro physical therapy effective for stroke recovery?

My mother is recovering from a stroke and the doctor suggested neuro physical therapy. We're trying to find the best options for her. I wanted to know if neuro physical therapy is really effective in helping stroke patients regain their movement and abilities.

Neuro physical therapy is actually considered a cornerstone of stroke rehabilitation as it helps retrain the brain. It is highly effective in improving mobility and motor functions over time. However, the exact plan and recovery pace must be guided by a certified neuro-physiotherapist and your neurologist.

Yes, neuro physical therapy is extremely vital as it works on neuroplasticity to help the body regain its natural movement. Gentle breathing exercises and calm mindfulness can also support the nervous system during this intense healing phase. Please proceed patiently under professional guidance.

Haan ji, neuro therapy is very good for stroke patients. My neighbor's father could not walk after his stroke, but with regular therapy at home, he can now stand with support. Do not lose hope, keep doing the exercises slowly every day.

It is definitely very useful, but hiring a private therapist at home can get very expensive. A practical solution is to learn the basic exercises from the therapist in the first few sessions and then practice them diligently at home with family support. Consistency is what really matters.

Yes, it is highly effective, but you must ensure you are getting it done by a qualified neuro-physiotherapist rather than a general trainer. Wrong movements can cause muscle strains or joint subluxation. Always get your neurologist's clearance before starting any therapy sessions.

Our elders always say that slow and steady efforts bring back strength, and neuro physiotherapy is exactly that. It is highly recommended to start it as early as the doctor allows to get the best recovery results. Trust your medical team and keep encouraging the patient.
