Is naan bread good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and watching my diet carefully. I love naan bread, but I'm not sure if it fits into a weight-loss plan. Is naan bread good for weight loss, or should I avoid it?

No yaar, absolutely not! Naan is actually made of maida and loaded with butter, so it is a total nightmare if you are trying to lose weight. Switch to normal wheat roti or multi-grain rotis instead, they are much better.

I lost 15 kg last year and the first thing I did was stop eating naan completely. Maida causes insulin spikes which makes you hold on to belly fat. If you really crave it, have a small piece of whole-wheat tandoori roti once in three weeks, but keep naan out of your daily diet.

When you have a busy 9-to-6 desk job, burning off the calories from just one butter naan takes forever. It is basically empty carbs that will make you feel sluggish in the afternoon. Stick to brown rice or simple chapati for your lunchbox.

Naan is a festive food, not a weight loss food, my friend. It is very heavy on the stomach and lacks fiber, which means you will feel hungry again very quickly. Enjoy it once in a while at weddings, but for weight loss, stick to home-cooked oats, dahlia, or normal roti.

Please avoid naan if you are watching your weight or blood sugar levels. Maida has a very high glycemic index, which will cause your blood glucose to shoot up instantly. This makes weight loss even harder and puts pressure on your pancreas.

My mother always says that food which is difficult to chew and digest is not good for health. Naan, being made of refined flour, is very heavy. My nutritionist also told me to strictly avoid it during my weight management plan.

If you log one single butter naan in any calorie-tracking app, you will be shocked to see it is around 300 to 400 calories! That is almost equal to a full healthy meal. It is definitely not good for maintaining a calorie deficit.

With thyroid, my metabolism is already very slow, so eating maida items like naan makes me gain weight instantly. It also causes gut inflammation. I highly recommend getting your thyroid levels checked regularly and avoiding refined flour completely.

Bhai, simple hand-rolled wheat rotis with a little ghee are the best for health. This market-made naan has baking soda and maida, which ruins our digestion. Eat simple village-style food if you want to lose weight and stay strong.

Honestly, naan is the worst thing for weight loss. I used to eat tandoori naan thinking it is better than fried stuff, but my weight stuck for two months. The moment I shifted to basic ghar ki roti, I started dropping weight.
