Is mylanta safe for pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and have been having a lot of acidity issues. My mother-in-law keeps offering me Mylanta. I'm hesitant to take anything without confirming if Mylanta is truly safe during pregnancy, especially for the baby.

I went through terrible acidity during both my pregnancies, so I know how hard it is. My doctor allowed me to take mild antacids like Mylanta occasionally, but advised against taking them regularly because they can interfere with iron absorption. Definitely talk to your doctor before starting it.

Pregnancy heartburn can be so tough to deal with! Mylanta is generally considered safe for occasional use, but it is always best to check with your gynecologist first. Try eating smaller, more frequent meals too, it really helps soothe the stomach naturally.

My wife had bad acidity during her second trimester and wanted to take Mylanta. Our doctor said it was fine for occasional use but prescribed a specific dosage to avoid any issues. Don't self-medicate, just ask your doctor once to be safe.

I know how exhausting and stressful it is to deal with constant pregnancy heartburn, it used to make me so anxious about eating anything. While Mylanta is often said to be safe, please double-check with your obstetrician. Getting their confirmation will make you feel so much more relaxed.

Please do not take any over-the-counter medicine like Mylanta during pregnancy without consulting your doctor. If you are experiencing severe pain, vomiting, or less baby movement, these are red flags and you must visit the hospital immediately. Always put safety first.
