Is mylanta safe during pregnancy?

I'm in my second trimester and have been experiencing some heartburn. My friend suggested Mylanta for relief, but I want to be absolutely sure it's safe for me and the baby before taking anything. Can I use it while pregnant?

During pregnancy, it is natural to feel uneasy and have acidity, but we must protect the little soul growing inside. Mylanta is an antacid that many doctors say is okay, but you must ask your gynecologist before taking any medicine. Stay calm, eat small meals, and may God bless you with a healthy pregnancy.

Ah, the joys of pregnancy heartburn, it feels like a tiny dragon is living inside! While Mylanta is generally considered safe by many, please don't just buy it over the counter like candy. Shoot a quick WhatsApp message to your doctor first so they can give you the green light.

Please do not self-medicate with Mylanta or any antacid during pregnancy. I once ignored some severe acidity symptoms and just popped random pills, which led to complications that could have been easily avoided. If you have severe heartburn, pain, or vomiting, go see your gynecologist immediately for safe medicine.

I completely understand how miserable pregnancy acidity can make you feel, it used to give me so much anxiety and sleepless nights. While active ingredients in Mylanta are often considered safe, every pregnancy is different. Please call your doctor first to confirm, just to give yourself complete peace of mind.

My sister had crazy heartburn when she was pregnant last year. She wanted to take Mylanta but her doctor actually recommended a different mild syrup that was safer for her. Better to just ask your gynac instead of taking advice from internet forums like this, honestly.
