Is metoclopramide safe in pregnancy?

I'm pregnant and have been having a lot of nausea and vomiting. My doctor mentioned a medication called Metoclopramide to help. I'm a bit hesitant about taking anything during pregnancy. Is Metoclopramide considered safe to use in pregnancy?

Beti, pregnancy is a time for utmost care. Metoclopramide is sometimes given for severe morning sickness. My doctor prescribed it to my daughter-in-law. But it's not for everyone, and it needs a proper doctor's consultation. Don't take any medicine in pregnancy without discussing it with your gynaecologist.

Hey girl, don't stress too much, but this is a serious question for your doctor! Metoclopramide *can* be prescribed during pregnancy for severe nausea and vomiting, but it's always a risk-benefit assessment by your OB/GYN. They will know your health history and what's safest for you and the baby. Pick up the phone and call your doc!

When it comes to pregnancy and medication, the word 'safe' is very relative and needs careful professional assessment. Metoclopramide is used in certain situations for severe nausea, but it's not without potential considerations. You must, without fail, consult your gynaecologist. Get it checked, don't self-diagnose or rely on internet advice.

Look, during pregnancy, every medication decision needs careful thought. Metoclopramide is sometimes prescribed for severe morning sickness when other options haven't worked. But it's a call only your OB-GYN can make, considering your medical history and the stage of your pregnancy. Please, speak to your doctor immediately about your symptoms and concerns.

My wife had terrible morning sickness during her first pregnancy, and the doctor did prescribe Metoclopramide for her. They said it was safe and effective for severe cases. But every pregnancy is different, so it's very important that your doctor evaluates your specific situation before prescribing anything. Just be open with them about your symptoms.

Ho na, pregnancy mein har choti cheez ka tension aata hai. Metoclopramide sometimes doctors dete hain for severe morning sickness. But it's always a doctor's call, not something you decide. Don't listen to anyone else except your gynaecologist, they will know best, haan na.

I totally get how exhausting and worrying pregnancy nausea can be! Metoclopramide is one of the medications that *can* be used in pregnancy for severe nausea and vomiting, but only under strict medical supervision. Your doctor will weigh the benefits against any risks to you and your baby. Please, talk to your OB/GYN about this.
