Is mayonnaise good for weight loss?

I've been hitting the gym regularly and trying to clean up my diet to lose weight. Some fitness influencers say mayo is okay in moderation, but others say to avoid it completely. Is mayonnaise good for weight loss or not?

Trying to lose weight can be an emotional rollercoaster, and feeling confused about food is common. Mayo is usually very high in calories and fat, so it's generally not considered 'good' for weight loss. Don't beat yourself up if you've had it, just be more mindful moving forward.

I can only speak from my own journey, but when I was actively trying to shed some kilos, my nutritionist advised me to completely cut out mayonnaise. It's just too calorie-dense. I found healthier alternatives like homemade mint chutney or low-fat yogurt dips much more effective. Best to ask your own doc or nutritionist.

As someone who's very diet-conscious, mayonnaise is definitely on the 'limit strictly' list for weight loss. It's primarily oil, meaning high calories and fat with little nutritional value. Focus on whole, plant-based foods and a balanced diet. There are many healthy and tasty alternatives!

Honestly, for weight loss, you need practical solutions, not fancy sauces. Mayonnaise is very high in calories, so it's not good. Instead, use simple curd, some spices, aur ghar ki pudina chutney. It's cheaper, healthier, and helps you lose weight without much hassle.

Don't panic! When I started my weight loss journey, I was scared of every single food. Mayo is calorie-dense, so it's generally not 'good' for weight loss in large amounts. But a tiny bit occasionally or a low-fat version isn't going to ruin everything. Be consistent with your overall diet and exercise.

For me, managing high BP means being very careful about fats and sodium, and this directly impacts weight too. Mayo is usually high in both, so it's definitely not good for weight loss. Focus on a balanced diet, regular walks, and always keep up with your doctor's appointments.
