Is magnesium citrate safe during pregnancy?

I'm experiencing a lot of constipation during my pregnancy. My gynaecologist mentioned magnesium citrate as an option, but I'm still a bit hesitant. Is magnesium citrate safe during pregnancy, especially in the third trimester?

Pregnancy ke time har choti cheez par tension hoti hai, I know that feeling so well. It's totally okay to be cautious about everything you put into your body. Please don't rely on internet advice for this. Talk to your doctor; they will give you the right and safe answer for you.

Arre baap re, pregnancy mein koi bhi cheez bina doctor se pooche mat lena. Magnesium citrate sometimes use hota hai constipation ke liye, par har pregnant lady ke liye safe nahi hoga. Apne gynaecologist se baat karo, wo hi sahi bataenge.

During pregnancy, everything needs careful consideration. Magnesium citrate can affect your blood pressure and fluid balance, which is very important. I manage my BP with regular checkups and lifestyle, but for pregnancy, it's non-negotiable to ask your doctor. They know your full medical history.

Having PCOS, I'm super careful about supplements, especially during pregnancy. Magnesium citrate is often used as a laxative. While some forms of magnesium are safe, this one needs to be specifically cleared by your OB-GYN. Every pregnancy is unique, so please confirm with your doctor.

OMG, definitely ask your doctor about this one! 🤰 Don't take any chances with pregnancy, sweetie. Your gyno will tell you what's 100% safe for you and the baby. Better safe than sorry! ✨
