Is low carb good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight before my sister's wedding. I've heard a lot about low-carb diets being effective for weight loss. Is following a low-carb plan truly good for shedding kilos?

Yes, cutting down on sweets and fried food really helps in losing weight. Do try it but don't starve yourself.

It can be effective in the short term, but sustainability is key. Many people regain weight once they go back to a normal diet, so consulting a clinical nutritionist is the best way forward.

With PCOS, low carb did help me drop some weight and managed my cravings too. But I did it very gradually, otherwise it messes with your hormones. Be kind to your body.

It works fast, no doubt about it. I lost 8 kg last year by just replacing dinner with paneer and salad. But you have to stay consistent or the weight comes back instantly.

I am thinking of starting this, but can we still eat dal and curd on a low carb diet? I get very confused about what to cook.

When I visited my doctor at Apollo, they told me that extreme low-carb diets aren't suitable for everyone, especially if you have high cholesterol. You should ask a proper physician before starting.

It worked wonders for me! I just cut out sugars and junk carbs and lost 5 kgs in two months. Feeling super active and light now.

Bro, honestly, just skip the late-night maggi and canteen momos for a month. That's the easiest low carb diet for us students and it actually works.
