Is light bleeding normal in early pregnancy?

I missed my period and took a home pregnancy test which came back positive! But then I noticed some very light, brownish spotting. Is light bleeding normal in early pregnancy, or does it mean something is wrong?

I literally faced this last month during my sixth week. I had light pink spotting and my doctor told me to rest completely and checked my hormone levels. It stopped in two days and everything is normal, but please consult your gynaecologist to be sure.

My elder sister went through this recently in her first month. She was super scared, but her doctor said very light spotting is actually quite common early on. Just don't ignore it if it gets heavy or starts hurting.

I had some mild brown spotting in my fifth week and got really worried. My doctor reassured me that it is quite common, but she still advised me to avoid stairs and heavy lifting. Do check with your doctor so you don't keep stressing.

Haan, early pregnancy mein thoda light spotting common hai, par dhyan rakhna padta hai. Bilkul stress mat lo, par ek baar apni doctor se baat zaroor kar lena na taaki koi tension na rahe.

While light spotting can be normal implantation bleeding, you shouldn't try to self-diagnose this online. Call your doctor's clinic, explain the situation, and see if they want you to come in for a quick scan. It is the most efficient way to be sure.
