Is lemon water with salt good for weight loss?

I saw a reel online about drinking warm lemon water with a pinch of salt for weight loss. I'm trying to get back in shape after my pregnancy. Does this combination really help with losing weight, or should I avoid the salt?

Adding salt to lemon water doesn't help you lose weight; in fact, excess salt can cause water retention and bloating. Skip the salt entirely if your goal is weight loss. Stick to a clean diet and exercise.

It is a super refreshing drink to have after a good workout session! Just make sure not to add too much salt. It keeps your electrolytes up and keeps you energetic all day! 😊

I tried lemon water with salt for months thinking it would help me shed pounds, but it did nothing for weight. It only helped with dehydration. Real weight loss only started when I monitored my portion sizes and walked daily.

Before you spend money on expensive fat burners or diet plans, drinking simple salt-free lemon water is a very cheap way to stay hydrated. If you want to plan your fitness seriously, get basic thyroid and sugar tests done first.

To be honest, salt lemon water is just a standard electrolyte drink. Don't expect it to burn fat. It is quick to make and keeps you hydrated at work, but that is about it.

I don't know the exact science behind it, but I usually have lemon water with black salt to beat my afternoon fatigue. It doesn't seem to affect my weight, but it definitely keeps my soda cravings away.

I read somewhere that too much sodium from salt can cause high BP, which makes me so nervous about drinking this daily. Maybe you should try plain lemon water instead, just to be on the safer side? Hope you find what works!

My father always warned that adding too much salt can increase blood pressure, so we avoid it. Plain lemon water is much safer. Always consult your general practitioner for safe weight management guidelines.
