Is lean cuisine good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose weight and came across Lean Cuisine meals at the supermarket. They seem convenient. Is Lean Cuisine actually good for weight loss, or is it better to stick to home-cooked food?

I have been thinking of buying Lean Cuisine meals to lose weight quickly, but I am worried about all the sodium and preservatives in packaged food. Does anyone else feel like eating these processed meals might actually slow down our metabolism in the long run? Would love to know your thoughts.

My college-going son was eating these frozen meals to manage his weight while living in a hostel, but he soon felt very fatigued and bloated due to the low nutrition and high salt. I stopped him and told him to cook simple dal-chawal or rotis with less oil instead. Freshly made food is always best for a healthy body.

I tried eating those frozen meals during a busy month at work, and while they are low in calories, they left me feeling super hungry after an hour. Honestly, making a quick egg bhurji or a chickpea salad at home takes the same ten minutes and is way more filling. Packaged meals just aren't sustainable.

My grandmother always said that food which stays in a packet for months cannot give you life or health. However, my doctor explained that while Lean Cuisine can help with portion control, the high preservative content is not ideal for daily use. Fresh home-cooked meals are much better if you want sustainable weight loss.

If you have any underlying health issues like thyroid or diabetes, eating processed meals like Lean Cuisine can be risky. You should always consult your general physician or clinical dietitian before replacing fresh meals with packaged options. Safety should always come first.

Please be careful with heavily processed 'diet' foods. I relied on low-calorie packaged meals for weight loss, which caused severe acidity and triggered my high blood pressure due to the high sodium content. It is far safer to consult a qualified nutritionist who can guide you on real, fresh food choices.

I managed to lose 12 kgs recently and I can tell you that frozen meals are not the answer. They might seem convenient, but they lack dietary fiber which is essential to keep you full. Once I switched to fresh green vegetables, sprouts, and regular walks, the weight came off naturally and stayed off.
