Is la roche posay pregnancy safe?
I'm pregnant and very careful about the skincare products I use. I love La Roche-Posay for my sensitive skin. Can someone confirm if La Roche-Posay is pregnancy-safe, especially their sunscreen and moisturizer?

Many La Roche-Posay products are safe, but some contain salicylic acid or retinol which you must avoid during pregnancy. When I went for my checkup at Columbia Asia, my doctor checked the exact ingredient list of my face wash. Please do the same with your gynecologist before using them.
My grandmother told me to stick to simple chickpea powder and curd during my pregnancy, but I wanted to use my La Roche-Posay moisturizers. My skin specialist assured me that their Toleriane range is perfectly safe for pregnant women as it has very minimal, clean ingredients. Do confirm with your doctor too.
I am so confused about this too! I've been using their Effaclar duo but now I'm pregnant and terrified that the ingredients might harm the baby. Did anyone else continue using La Roche-Posay products through their first trimester without any issues?
Most of their basic moisturizers like Toleriane are totally safe, but definitely avoid their retinol or salicylic acid serums right now.

I agree with others here. Just stick to their basic hydrating formulas like the Cicaplast B5 or Toleriane Double Repair, and avoid any acne-clearing products.
