Is l theanine safe during pregnancy?

I use L-theanine for stress relief and it works wonders for me. Now I'm pregnant and wondering if I should stop taking it. Is L-theanine safe during pregnancy?

With pregnancy, you just can't take chances to save a quick trip to the clinic. There isn't enough solid research on L-theanine during these nine months. Skip the supplement for now and just ask your OB-GYN in your next scheduled appointment.

Better to avoid it because if any complication arises, the hospital bills and extra tests will cost a bomb. Why take unnecessary risks with supplements? Just focus on basic home food and regular checkups which are already quite expensive.

I had severe sleep issues during my second trimester and thought about taking L-theanine too. My doctor strictly advised against it because there is very little safety data for pregnant women. She told me to practice deep breathing and stick to plain coconut water instead.

Congratulations on the upcoming baby! But seriously, let's keep the experiments for after the delivery. Unless you want your gynecologist to give you a long lecture, better stay away from any random supplement you read about online.

Beta, don't take these modern laboratory pills during pregnancy unless your doctor strictly prescribes it. For anxiety or sleep, drink a cup of warm milk with a little badam or saffron. These natural ways are tried and tested for generations without any side effects.

Hey! It's always best to be super careful when you have a little one on the way. Skip the L-theanine pills for now and try some light chamomile tea or soothing music to relax. Take care of yourself and stay happy!
