Is keto diet good for pcos?

I've been struggling with PCOS symptoms for a while, especially weight gain and irregular periods. My friend, who also has PCOS, said the keto diet helped her a lot. Is the keto diet generally good for PCOS?

Ho na, for PCOS, some people find keto helpful because it helps with insulin resistance. But it's not for everyone, and it's quite strict. Best to talk to your gynaecologist and a dietician first, you know. They'll tell you if it's right for your body.

Many women with PCOS have seen benefits from a keto or low-carb diet, primarily due to its impact on insulin sensitivity and weight management. However, it's crucial to approach it carefully. Get professional guidance from your endocrinologist or a nutritionist experienced with PCOS. They can help you create a sustainable plan and monitor your progress. It's about long-term health, not just a quick fix.

PCOS, huh? I hear it's a tricky one. Keto might be like your body's personal gym trainer for insulin, making it work better! 😂 But seriously, before you dive into any extreme diet, please consult a doc. Don't let your body become a science experiment without supervision!

For PCOS, a dietician's consultation can be really helpful. Keto can be expensive to maintain with all the special ingredients. Also, before starting, get your hormonal tests done, it's a bit of an expense but super important. Then you and your doctor can decide if keto is the best, most cost-effective path for you.

I'm just starting to understand PCOS and what diet might help. So, keto is about managing insulin, right? Does that mean all carbs are bad, or just certain ones? I'm trying to learn about it in a safe way.
