Is kefir good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight before my brother's wedding next year. My dietician suggested adding fermented foods, and kefir came up. Is kefir good for weight loss, or should I look at other options?

Kefir, Greek yogurt, ragi, bajra... it's a new 'superfood' every week! 😂 But honestly, plain kefir is good. High in protein, good for the gut. If it helps curb those midnight snack cravings, then yes, it's good for weight loss. But don't expect miracles while still eating gulab jamuns!

I've heard great things about kefir for weight loss, mainly because of the probiotics and protein. But does it *really* make a noticeable difference? Has anyone here actually lost weight specifically because of adding kefir? I get so anxious about trying new things and not seeing results.

Kefir can definitely be a good addition to a weight loss diet, especially since gut health is so linked to overall metabolism and PCOS. The protein helps with satiety too. Just make sure you get the unsweetened version and it suits your digestion. Be patient with yourself.

I started having plain kefir in my smoothies a few months ago for general gut health, not specifically for weight loss. But I did notice I felt more full and less bloated. I can't say it directly made me lose weight, but it definitely felt like a healthy addition to my diet.

Kefir for weight loss? Bhai, anything that makes me feel less guilty about my weekend biryani is good! Jokes aside, it's a good protein source and good for the tummy. If it keeps me full and away from unhealthy cravings, then yeah, it's a win! Just skip the sugary flavours.

Yaar, honestly, for weight loss, sabse pehle diet control and exercise. Kefir is good, haan, for gut health and protein. So it *helps* in a healthy lifestyle, which then helps with weight loss. But don't expect it to do all the work alone, actually.

Don't fall for every 'superfood' trend claiming miraculous weight loss. Kefir is healthy, it has probiotics and protein. But for weight loss, it's about calories in vs calories out, and a balanced diet. If you think a specific food will magically melt fat, you're mistaken. Talk to a dietician for real advice.
