Is it safe to orgasim during pregnancy?

My husband and I are expecting our first baby, and someone mentioned that intimacy might not be good for the baby during pregnancy. We were wondering if it's safe to have orgasms, or if we should avoid it completely. We don't want to do anything that could harm the baby.

Yes, generally safe. The contractions are usually mild and don't affect the baby unless there are complications.

While I believe in natural processes and holistic well-being, when it comes to the safety of pregnancy, medical advice is paramount. An orgasm can cause mild uterine contractions, which are usually harmless, but if you have any concerns like bleeding or risk of preterm labor, it's best to consult your doctor. Don't take chances with your baby's health.

I literally just went through this! I was so concerned about the uterine contractions after an orgasm. But my doctor assured me that in a healthy pregnancy, these are normal and don't pose a risk to the baby. They're different from labor contractions. It actually helped me feel more relaxed and connected with my body during pregnancy.

It's so normal to worry about every little thing during pregnancy, including this! I remember being anxious too. For most healthy pregnancies, orgasms are perfectly safe. The mild contractions are not strong enough to harm the baby or cause preterm labor unless there are underlying issues. Still, it helps to talk to your doctor for reassurance.

I've explored so many remedies for various pregnancy discomforts, and it's easy to get confused. Regarding orgasms, practically, if you're having a low-risk pregnancy and feel comfortable, it's usually fine. It can even help with relaxation! Just ensure you're not experiencing any pain or unusual discharge afterward. If so, call your doctor right away.
