Is interval running good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and my friend suggested interval running. Is it really effective for shedding those extra kilos or should I stick to something else?

At our age, running very fast in intervals can be too harsh on the knees and joints. It is always better to start with brisk walking and have warm milk with a pinch of turmeric at night to keep the joints strong. Please ask your family doctor before starting such heavy running exercises.

My father always believed that regular morning walking is the best for a long life. Interval running can burn calories quickly, but it puts a lot of stress on the heart. It is very important to get a physical fitness checkup from your physician before starting this.

I tried interval running last week and my heart rate went up so fast that I got really scared and stopped. Did anyone else feel dizzy or extremely breathless when they first started doing this? I want to lose weight but I am a bit anxious about this.

I tried all kinds of warm water with honey and herbal teas, but nothing worked for weight loss until I started physical activity. Interval running is really good for burning fat, but start slowly so you don't injure your ankles. Pair it with a healthy home-cooked diet for best results.

If you want maximum fat burn in minimum time, interval running is the way to go. It keeps your metabolism high even after you finish the workout. Just make sure you do a proper warm-up and cool-down to prevent hamstring pull.

For weight loss, a natural diet and active lifestyle like running are very good. But if you feel any chest pain, breathlessness, or severe joint pain while running, stop immediately. Do not ignore these warning signs and visit a doctor right away.

Interval running sounds great until you realize your 45-year-old knees are begging for mercy after two minutes! It is definitely effective for weight loss if your body allows it. I think I will stick to my slow walk and leave the sprinting to the youngsters.

Haan na, running continuously is so boring and tiring. Interval running actually makes the workout finish fast and burns good calories too. Just don't push yourself too hard on the very first day, take it easy ho na.

With my hypothyroid issue, losing weight is extremely slow and frustrating. Interval running helped boost my metabolism, but I had to monitor my thyroid levels regularly because fatigue can hit you hard. Keep checking your TSH levels and coordinate with your doctor.

I totally get it, losing weight is hard and you want the fastest results possible. Interval running is great, but it can be very punishing on your body if you are starting after a long time. Please be kind to yourself and take walking breaks whenever you feel tired.

Running in short fast bursts is very good for health and strength. In our town, kids do this to prepare for sports. Just eat good ghar ka khana and don't do it on an empty stomach if you feel weak.

Interval running is great because it is a completely free workout and you don't need an expensive gym membership. Just make sure you get a basic health checkup done first to ensure your heart is fully fit for high-intensity cardio.

Interval running is a highly intense exercise that can spike your heart rate and blood pressure suddenly. As someone with high BP, I had to get a green light from my cardiologist first. Please get your BP checked before starting any high-intensity training.
