Is instant oatmeal good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose weight and looking for quick breakfast options. I heard instant oatmeal might be good. Is instant oatmeal actually helpful for weight loss, or should I go for something else?

Rolled oats or steel-cut are much better options because they have a lower glycemic index and keep you full longer. Instant oats digest too fast, but they work if you are in a rush.

Blessings to you. It is a good, light breakfast that keeps the body calm and full, just avoid the flavored packets that have artificial sugars.

Some instant oat brands have hidden sugars and sodium. Always check the nutrition label carefully, or better yet, consult a dietitian for a plan that suits you.

I have PCOS and instant oats caused sugar spikes for me. I switched to steel-cut oats which are much better for insulin levels. Try to see what works for your specific body type.

I totally get how overwhelming it is to choose the right diet when trying to lose weight. Plain instant oats are decent, so don't stress too much, just keep the portions in check.
