Is imodium safe in pregnancy?

I'm early in my pregnancy and have been having some stomach issues. I usually take Imodium when I have loose motions, but now I'm unsure. Is Imodium safe to take during pregnancy?

Hey, don't stress too much! But honestly, try to avoid Imodium unless your gynaecologist says yes. It's always safer to stick to curd rice or bananas to settle your stomach naturally right now.

Generally, doctors advise against taking Imodium during the early stages of pregnancy. It is always best to treat diarrhoea with plenty of fluids, coconut water, and a doctor's recommended prescription if it persists.

Skip the OTC drugs like Imodium during pregnancy. Stick to clean, bland foods like white rice and applesauce to soothe your digestion naturally, and let your body recover with light rest.

Beti, pregnancy mein bina doctor se pooche koi bhi angrezi dawai nahi khani chahiye. Kuch din dahi-chawal khao aur turant apne doctor saheb ko dikhao.

I agree with others, it's not considered fully safe. Better to stay hydrated with electral powder until you can talk to your doctor.
