Is ice cream good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight, and I'm very careful about my diet. But sometimes I crave something sweet. Can I have ice cream as a treat occasionally, or is it completely out of bounds for weight loss?

Honestly, regular ice cream is very high in sugar and processed fats, which can trigger insulin spikes and make weight loss much harder, especially with PCOS. I try to avoid it mostly, but if the cravings get too bad, a small spoonful of low-sugar frozen yogurt helps. Just be kind to yourself and don't make it a daily habit.

I wish this was true, I would eat it three times a day! But realistically, ice cream has way too many calories for a weight loss diet. What worked for me was freezing some grapes or making a banana smoothie with coco powder when I craved something sweet and cold. It really satisfies the craving without the guilt.

No way yaar, ice cream and weight loss don't go together at all. Actually, the sugar content is crazy and it will just mess up your calorie deficit. If you are dying for something sweet, maybe try sugar-free popsicles or just have a tiny bite of your favorite flavor once a week so you don't feel deprived.

It is so tough when you are trying to lose weight but your brain is constantly screaming for comfort foods like ice cream. I used to beat myself up so badly after eating a cup, but denying yourself completely also backfires. It's okay to indulge sometimes, just try to keep the portion small and don't hate yourself for it.

Instead of wasting money on expensive 'diet' ice creams that promise weight loss, it is better to plan a simple, budget-friendly meal routine. Buying fancy low-cal tubs is just a marketing gimmick and a waste of cash. Plain home-made buttermilk with thoda jeera is much cheaper, keeps you full, and actually helps with weight control.

Please be very careful with this. Even the 'sugar-free' ice creams often contain sweeteners or fats that can affect your metabolism and blood sugar levels. When you are trying to lose weight, keeping your insulin stable is key. Stick to whole foods like cucumbers, nuts, and sprouts, and leave the ice cream for very rare occasions.
