Is hot chocolate good for weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and cutting down on sugary drinks. Is hot chocolate an absolute no-no, or are there ways to make it suitable for weight loss, like using unsweetened cocoa or alternatives?

As someone dealing with PCOS, I try to be very careful with hot chocolate because the insulin spike can mess up our hormones. If you really crave it, try making it with water, dark cocoa powder, and stevia. But please consult your nutritionist to see if it fits your specific routine.

Before adding any high-calorie drinks to your daily routine, it is always safer to consult a qualified dietitian. Every body is different and what seems like a simple drink can stall your weight loss or affect your blood parameters. Get a professional opinion first.

No need to buy fancy sugar-free hot chocolate packets from big supermarkets. If you are trying to cut down weight, simply reduce your daily tea sugar and eat home-cooked food. Walking for 45 minutes on your terrace is totally free and works wonders.

If hot chocolate was good for weight loss, I would have been a supermodel by now! Sadly, those delicious commercial powders are just sugar bombs. If you want to lose weight, we have to face the hard truth and stick to plain warm water or green tea.

When you have thyroid issues, weight loss is already a struggle and high-calorie drinks like hot chocolate don't help. I would recommend getting your TSH levels checked first to understand your metabolism. Speak to your doctor about your diet goals rather than relying on internet shortcuts.
