Is haldi good for weight loss?

My grandmother always says that eating haldi (turmeric) is good for everything. I'm trying to lose some weight, and I'm wondering if adding more haldi to my diet would help. Is haldi actually good for weight loss?

Haldi is great for metabolism, ho na. But only drinking haldi paani won't magically reduce weight. Along with it, you must control your diet and do some daily walking, tabhi work karega.

I tried taking warm water with haldi and lemon every morning for two months. Honestly, it cleared up my skin nicely, but my weight didn't budge until I actually started running and lifting weights.

Curcumin in turmeric has been studied for improving insulin sensitivity, which can aid weight management. However, my physician emphasized that it is not a cure-all. You need a structured low-glycemic diet and physical activity for real results.

Look, haldi has amazing anti-inflammatory benefits which indirectly helps your body function better. But don't fall for extreme weight loss trends of consuming too much of it. Just use it normally in your food and maintain a steady, healthy routine.

If haldi alone could burn fat, we Indians would all be runway models by now! It helps with digestion and immunity for sure, but you still have to say goodbye to the samosas if you want to lose weight.

My grandmother always used to give us warm haldi milk for everything. While it is excellent for internal healing, my dietitian explained that weight loss requires a proper calorie deficit. Enjoy your haldi, but don't treat it as a shortcut.
