Is greek yogurt or regular yogurt better for weight loss?

I'm on a weight-loss journey and eating yogurt regularly. I'm confused if Greek yogurt or regular yogurt is better for losing weight. What's the main difference in terms of benefits?

Greek yogurt wins on protein content, which is key for retaining muscle while losing fat. But if you are on a tight calorie budget, regular skimmed curd works perfectly fine too. Just make sure you are in a overall calorie deficit and keeping up with some strength training.

I used to feel so guilty for buying regular curd instead of expensive Greek yogurt, thinking I wasn't doing enough for my weight loss. Please don't stress over these small details. Both are healthy options, so choose the one you enjoy eating daily without feeling anxious.

In our family, we cannot live without curd rice, so regular yogurt is a daily must. However, my doctor recommended Greek yogurt because of my weight management goals. I now use a mix of both, but always consult your doctor or clinical nutritionist to see what fits your target.

As someone managing diabetes, I always look closely at the carbohydrate content. Greek yogurt has fewer carbs and more protein than regular dahi, which means it doesn't cause sudden spikes. Just make sure you check the nutrition label for any hidden sugars.

Greek yogurt is definitely the fancy, high-protein cousin, but regular ghar ka dahi has saved my life and budget so many times. Unless you are training for a bodybuilding show, normal dahi with some roasted cumin powder will do the job perfectly without making your wallet cry!
