Is gluten free pasta good for weight loss?

I'm on a weight loss journey and trying to make healthier food choices. I enjoy pasta sometimes, so I was wondering if gluten-free pasta is good for weight loss, or if it doesn't make much difference.

Beta, if you want to lose weight, eat simple home-cooked meals on time. This packed pasta, even if it is gluten-free, is highly processed. Drink lukewarm water with lemon in the morning, that is much better.

I used to panic and buy expensive gluten-free pasta thinking normal wheat was making me fat. Once I stopped stress-eating and just managed my portion sizes of regular food, the weight came down naturally. Don't worry so much.

Gluten-free pasta is still loaded with carbs. For weight loss, you need to look at your overall calorie intake and daily protein. Better to lift some weights and eat normal pasta in small portions post-workout.

I developed severe bloating and stomach aches after eating some gluten-free pastas because of the heavy tapioca and corn starches in them. It's really best to consult a doctor or nutritionist before replacing your regular grain sources.

Gluten-free pasta costs three times more than normal pasta and has almost the same calories. Instead of spending on fancy diets, I just plan my budget around fresh vegetables and normal daliya, which is much cheaper and healthier.

I had high weight due to undetected thyroid issues, and changing to gluten-free pasta didn't help at all. Please get your thyroid and hormone levels tested regularly by a doctor before trying specialized diets.
