Is espresso good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and have started drinking black coffee, specifically espresso, every morning. My gym trainer said it helps with metabolism. Is espresso good for weight loss, or is it just a myth?

Black coffee is fine to boost your metabolism naturally, but don't overdo it. If you have acidity or palpitations, stop immediately and check with your family doctor.

Well, espresso keeps me awake at 3 AM so I can think about weight loss! Honestly, it cuts my appetite for an hour, but then I just end up eating double later.

My college-going daughter started drinking multiple espressos to lose weight quickly. I had to stop her because it was causing severe acidity and anxiety; home-cooked balanced food is much safer.

I used black coffee during my 15 kg weight loss journey. It works great as a pre-workout drink for energy, but it won't do anything if your overall daily diet is high in calories.

I was just searching about this yesterday! Some articles say the caffeine helps burn fat during workouts, but only if you drink it without sugar or milk.

I grab an espresso shot before heading to the office gym. It saves time and gives a quick boost, but don't drink it late in the afternoon or it will ruin your sleep cycle.

People on social media make espresso sound like a miracle fat burner. Actually, it just gives a temporary energy kick; real weight loss needs diet control. Ask a proper nutritionist instead of following online trends.

My fitness app tracking shows a slight metabolic spike when I have espresso before cardio. Just log your cups because too much caffeine can spike cortisol, which actually halts fat loss.
