Is eggplant good for weight loss?

I'm really focused on losing weight and incorporating more healthy foods into my diet. I enjoy eggplant in different dishes, and I'm wondering if it's actually good for weight loss.

I tried going on an extreme vegetable-only diet for quick weight loss and ended up with severe nutritional deficiencies and stomach issues. Eggplant is fine, but please consult a doctor or dietician rather than doing extreme diets on your own. Proper medical guidance is very important.

In our family, grandmother always says that eggplant is very light on the stomach and good for health. My doctor also confirmed it is high in fiber and low in calories, making it excellent for weight loss. Just make sure to prepare it as a simple curry with minimal oil.

Eggplant is amazing for weight loss because it is almost 90% water and very low in calories. However, you must be very careful with how you cook it because eggplant acts like a sponge and absorbs a lot of oil or ghee. Try baking or roasting it instead of frying.

Since I have type 2 diabetes, keeping my weight in check is very important for my blood sugar levels. Eggplant is excellent because it has a low glycemic index and doesn't cause any sudden spikes. I highly recommend adding it to your diabetic weight loss diet.

Baingan is very cheap in the local market, so it is a very pocket-friendly way to lose weight. I usually plan my weekly meals around seasonal vegetables like this because they don't cost much. Just make sure to get a basic lipid profile done once a year to keep a check on your health progress.
