Is egg roll good for weight loss?

I'm really trying to cut down on unhealthy food to lose weight, but I love an occasional egg roll. I'm curious if an egg roll, maybe a homemade one, could still fit into a weight loss diet or if it's best to avoid it completely.

Egg rolls from the street are fried in bad oil and have high salt, which is terrible for both weight loss and blood pressure. If you want to eat it, make it at home using a dry roti and very little oil.

Nahi babu, bazaar wala egg roll toh maida aur tel se bhara hota hai, usse vajan badhega hi. Apne ghar pe halke tel mein roti par anda banakar khao, woh jyada fayda karega.

If you buy it outside, definitely no. But I lost weight by making a healthy version at home: use a whole wheat wrap, cook the egg with minimal oil, and stuff it with lots of raw veggies.

I totally get it, those evening egg roll cravings are so hard to resist when you are on a diet. Try making a wrap with oats flour or multigrain roti at home so you can enjoy the taste without the extra calories.

I know how stressful it is when you want to eat your favorite comfort foods but feel guilty about weight gain. You don't have to quit egg rolls completely; just try making a healthy wheat-based one at home once a week.

Don't fall for recipes online claiming 'keto egg rolls' are magic for weight loss. At the end of the day, it's about total daily calories, so consult a proper dietitian instead of guessing.
