Is dry mouth a sign of early pregnancy?

My period is late, and I've been feeling unusually thirsty and having a very dry mouth lately. My friend who just had a baby said she experienced this when she was pregnant. Can dry mouth be one of the very first signs of early pregnancy?

Actually yes yaar, hormonal changes during early pregnancy can cause dry mouth. I used to wake up so thirsty in my first trimester. Try taking a test to be sure.

I ignored my extreme thirst and dry mouth early on thinking it was just summer heat. Don't ignore physical changes; take a home pregnancy test or see your gynaecologist.

My gynaecologist explained that increased blood volume and fluid retention in early pregnancy can lead to mild dehydration and dry mouth. Keeping hydrated with electrolytes helps.

Hey, don't stress too much! Dry mouth can happen just because of dehydration or weather changes. Buy a quick pregnancy test kit, it will give you peace of mind.

Stay positive and listen to your body gently. Hormones can behave in many ways. Drink pure water, keep your mind calm, and let things unfold beautifully.

I read online that dry mouth can happen due to crazy hormonal shifts. But honestly, a simple UPT test from the chemist is the only real way to know.

While dry mouth is reported by many pregnant women, it can also indicate other issues like gestational diabetes. It is always safer to consult your gynaecologist for a proper check.
