Is cycle class good for weight loss?
I'm looking for a new workout routine to help me lose weight and get fit. My gym just started cycle classes, and they look pretty intense. Is a cycle class actually good for weight loss, or is it more for cardio?

Oh yes, cycling classes are amazing! 🚴♀️ The high energy music and the group vibe makes it so fun that you don't even realize how many calories you are burning. Totally recommend giving it a shot! 🎉
It can be really good, but if you have PCOS or any hormonal issues like me, high-intensity cycling might sometimes spike your cortisol levels too much. It did help me shed some weight, but I had to mix it with low-impact exercises so I didn't feel completely exhausted.
Any form of movement is a beautiful way to honor your body and stay active. If cycling classes bring you joy, then surely go for it. Just listen to your body, stay positive, and take care of your physical well-being.
Cycling is great cardio and burns a ton of calories, which definitely helps with weight loss. Just remember that weight loss is mostly about your diet and keeping a calorie deficit. Pair the cycling classes with some strength training and clean eating for the best results.
