Is crystal light bad for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and cutting down on sugary drinks. My wife suggested trying Crystal Light as a low-calorie option, but I'm concerned if artificial sweeteners might be bad for weight loss goals.

Honestly, if you are busy and need a quick low-calorie drink to avoid drinking high-sugar sodas at work, it works fine. It is practically zero calories so it won't stop weight loss, but don't overdo it. Focus on home-cooked meals and proper sleep first.

I am just starting my fitness journey and learning about calories. Does drinking artificial sweeteners like this actually slow down our metabolism in the long run, or is it totally safe as long as we stay under our calorie limit?

Let's be real, weight loss is simple math—calories in versus calories out. Since Crystal Light has zero sugar and negligible calories, it is not going to ruin your weight loss goals. Just don't pretend it's a superfood; it is just sweet water.

Listen, between managing my late-night work shifts and keeping up with life, I drink whatever keeps me going without giving me a sugar belly. It has no calories, so it won't make you fat, but it won't magically melt your fat either. Just drink it and go to sleep!

My son was trying to lose weight and started drinking these powdered drinks to control his soda cravings. While it helped him cut calories initially, we noticed it actually increased his craving for sweet things. I feel plain lime juice with salt is a much safer, natural choice for kids.

My mother always tells me to drink fresh buttermilk or coconut water instead of these packaged things for weight loss. But when I asked my dietitian, she said an occasional sugar-free drink is perfectly fine if it stops you from eating junk food. It is all about balance.
