Yes, actually it is a very light and great option for dinner instead of heavy maida or rice.
Honestly, weight loss is more about peace of mind and portion control than just one food item. Couscous is good because it digests slowly, but eat with gratitude and joy. Stay positive and take care of your body, it is your only home.
I just went through a major weight loss journey and lost 8 kgs recently. I replaced white rice with couscous twice a week, and it worked wonders because it is high in protein. Just cook it with lots of veggies like beans and carrots.
True, I also use it as a salad base. It really keeps you full for a longer time which prevents junk cravings.
It can help, but please dont just self-diagnose your dietary needs without basic tests. Better to get a quick blood test done first before changing your whole diet plan.

Couscous is fine, but honestly it can get a bit expensive in local stores here. Our local daliya or broken wheat does the exact same job at one-fourth the price. Just cook daliya with less oil and lots of veggies, simple and budget-friendly.
