Is cornmeal good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight and looking for healthier alternatives to wheat flour. Someone suggested cornmeal, but I'm not sure if it's actually good for weight loss or just another fad.

Cornmeal has a high glycemic load, which means it can raise blood sugar and insulin levels quickly. Higher insulin makes it harder for the body to burn fat, so I would avoid it for weight loss.

I totally get it, navigating weight loss diets is incredibly confusing these days. Cornmeal can be okay in small portions, but since it lacks high fiber compared to oats or ragi, it might not keep you full for long.

I completely understand how stressful it is to choose the right grains when you are trying hard to shed weight. It feels like every food has some catch. Cornmeal is actually quite calorie-dense, so maybe try whole oats or daliya instead for better peace of mind.

At 51, my metabolism is slower than local trains! I tried switching to cornmeal rotis for weight loss, but honestly, only portion control and cutting down my evening chai snacks actually helped.

Haan, weight loss ke liye cornmeal utna accha option nahi hai na. Isme fiber thoda kam hota hai compare to multigrain. Aap ragi ya jowar try karo, usse jaldi bhookh bhi nahi lagegi.
