Is congestion a sign of early pregnancy?

I've been feeling quite congested lately, almost like a cold but without a runny nose. I'm hoping I might be pregnant, so I was wondering, can congestion be an early sign? I'm due for my period soon.

Yes, pregnancy rhinitis is a real thing, but don't go spending money on expensive clinic tests just yet. Buy a simple home pregnancy test kit for fifty rupees first if your period is late. It is much more practical and saves you unnecessary early doctor fees.

It can happen because of increased blood flow in the body during early pregnancy. For relief, just do steam inhalation at home with plain water, it works wonders and costs nothing. If you suspect you are pregnant, just do a quick urine test at home to be sure.

Nasal congestion can sometimes be linked to hormonal surges, which happens in early pregnancy. But as someone with PCOS, I know our hormones can act up for many reasons and mimic these signs. It is best to wait for a missed period and take a test rather than guessing.

Yes, hormonal changes can cause nasal congestion in early stages. Instead of searching online during your work hours and getting distracted, just take a quick home test tomorrow morning. It takes two minutes and gives you a clear answer so you can plan your next steps.

Wait, really? I had no idea a stuffy nose could be related to pregnancy, thought it was just a normal cold. My sister had a crazy cold when she was pregnant though, so maybe there is a connection. Better to just get a test kit from the chemist.

Yes, my health app actually has a whole section on this! Increased estrogen causes the nasal passages to swell, leading to what is called pregnancy rhinitis. Track your cycle on an app, and if you are past your ovulation date, a simple home test will clear your doubts.

Yes, some women do get a stuffy nose due to hormonal changes. During this time, drinking warm tulsi water or ginger tea can help soothe the congestion naturally. Avoid taking strong over-the-counter cold medicines without confirming the pregnancy first.
