Is coke zero bad for weight loss?

I'm on a diet to lose weight and someone suggested Coke Zero instead of regular coke. Does Coke Zero actually hinder weight loss, or can I have it without worrying too much?

I tried so many weight loss drinks like jeera water and honey lemon water, and sometimes I would reward myself with a Coke Zero thinking it has no calories. But actually, I realized it kept my craving for sweets alive, making me snack more later. It is much better to drink simple home-made buttermilk with curry leaves.

Honestly, Coke Zero helped me a lot during my cutting phase when I had insane sugar cravings. Since it has zero calories, it didn't mess up my calorie deficit at all. Just don't drink it like water, one can occasionally is totally fine for weight loss.

With thyroid, my weight loss is already super slow, so I have to be very careful. My doctor told me artificial sweeteners in drinks like Coke Zero can sometimes disrupt gut hormones and metabolism. I suggest getting your thyroid checked regularly and talking to your doctor before replacing water with diet drinks.

I used to feel so guilty every time I wanted a sweet drink while on my diet. Coke Zero felt like a lifesaver, but then I felt bad reading reviews saying it ruins metabolism. It is really hard to find a balance when you are struggling with body image, but don't beat yourself up over an occasional can.

Instead of spending money daily on costly diet sodas, it is better to plan your diet practically. Simple home-brewed black tea or lemon water costs pennies and keeps you healthy. Save that money for regular lipid profile tests which actually help you track your long-term fitness.

My doctor said Coke Zero won't put on weight directly because of zero calories, but my habit of eating a plate of pakoras with it definitely will! We try to save 140 calories on the drink but eat 500 calories of snacks. If you have the self-control, go ahead.
