Is cod good for weight loss?

I'm trying to lose some weight after my second baby, and a friend suggested adding more fish to my diet. Is cod a good option for weight loss, or should I look for something else? Trying to make healthy choices, na.

Dekho boss, cod fish is great for weight loss because it is super low in fat and packed with protein. But if you deep fry it in butter or oil, then there is no use. Cook it simply, eat your veggies, and stay consistent. Short cuts don't work, simple as that.

Weight loss for us is always a struggle, ho na. Cod fish is actually very helpful because it keeps you full for a long time without heavy calories. Just boil or bake it with little spices instead of heavy masala. It really helps to manage portion size easily.

Absolutely! I log my meals on HealthifyMe, and cod is a cheat code for hitting your daily protein targets without overshooting your fats. A 150g serving has barely any fat but almost 30g of solid protein. Track your total daily calories and you will see steady progress.

In my journey, I have realized that light, easily digestible proteins like cod work beautifully to keep the body light and active. When your digestive fire is balanced, weight loss happens naturally. Combine a light fish meal with some daily deep breathing or Kapalbhati to keep your metabolism healthy.

My toddler kept me awake till 4 AM, so right now even basic cooking feels like climbing Everest. But yes, cod is awesome for weight loss if you actually have the energy to bake it instead of ordering high-calorie takeout. If you find an easy 10-minute recipe, please share it with me too.
