Is chai safe during pregnancy?

My morning ritual is a cup of chai, but now that I'm expecting, everyone is telling me to cut down. Is regular chai, ghar pe bani हुई, safe to drink throughout pregnancy? I really miss it!

Chai usually has caffeine, so it's about moderation during pregnancy. Just like planning for expenses, you have to plan your caffeine intake. Some spices in chai can also be strong. It's always best to ask your gynaecologist directly, it's a small investment of time for crucial health advice.

It's tricky because chai has caffeine and sometimes strong spices like ginger or cinnamon, which in large amounts might not be ideal during pregnancy. I'd strongly suggest speaking to your doctor. Every pregnancy is different, and they can advise you on safe limits for caffeine and specific spices.

Beta, in our times, women used to drink light chai, not too strong. It has some caffeine, and also adrak (ginger) or elaichi (cardamom). For pregnancy, everything in moderation is good. But it is always best to ask the lady doctor, she will tell you what is right for your body.

From a dietary perspective for pregnancy, the main concerns with chai are caffeine intake and the concentration of certain spices. Some spices, while usually good, can be potent in large amounts. It's always best to discuss your specific chai habits with your gynaecologist for a personalized diet plan.

While many people drink chai daily, during pregnancy, it's extremely important to be cautious. The caffeine content and certain spices can be concerning for some. Please, for your absolute safety and the baby's, get proper guidance from your doctor or gynaecologist before consuming it regularly.

Don't stress too much, but definitely check with your doctor, yaar. Chai has caffeine, and sometimes the strong masalas can be a concern during pregnancy. Maybe switch to a lighter version, or decaf. Your gynae will tell you the exact limits, so just ask them directly.
